No More Fear

For years — actually since 2003, I have been walking in this new path of learning to trust God, place my dependence on Him and let go of fear.  At times I did a poor job of it and at other times, I seemed to be doing a little better.  However, at no time did I ever walk 100% in complete trust until now.  And I wanted to share this with you that it might aid you in your own journey.

I am sure that the  co-dependency was literally strangling the life right out of me and can be fatal if left untreated.  I know because it almost took me out.  I am passionate about it because of the years of suffering I experienced left me a shell of a person until 2010 when I finally put the brakes on my life and stopped the insanity.

It was the co-dependency that would not allow me to get completely well once I got into recovery in 2003.  I had to address it and deal with it or it was going to win.  AND I am happy to say and share with you that I never knew life could be this fabulous, that you could walk in complete trust with Him, our maker, our creator, the one who loves us unconditionally and will teach us how to love others the way that He does.

It is not an easy journey because you have to let go of old ideas and behaviors that were years in the making, but it is worth it.  It is so worth it.  I used to depend on family members and friends when I was going through things, especially financial problems.  At my age I would still try to go to my parents for  help, but today I have someone supplying all my needs and most of my desires now that my desires are aligned with the goodness He has for me.  And most of that is in serving others.

I do know for sure that the easiest way to get out of yourself and your own problems is to serve someone else and leave Him to take care of your issues.  It works, it really does.  Go to Him right now, wherever you are in your life, and I promise you He will meet you right where you are at.  You will instantly feel relief and will not be sorry.
