Touching Base From The Big Island of Hawaii
Good morning from the big island of Hawaii.
I want to take a moment and apologize for letting so many months go by without any word from me. I left Maui in December and went back to Texas to see family and friends for the holidays.
From there I accepted a position on the big island at Hilo Medical Center, but upon arrival here, I had to decline the offer and change my status back to being a “traveler”.
It’s a long story, but it is what was best for me, while still being able to help the hospital out with their shortage of respiratory therapists.
I hope everyone had a great new year and that things are going well in your own life and world. I hope you were able to implement an attitude of gratitude and you are reaping the benefits. I am praying for a great year for all of us.
I continue to work hard at the hospital, while taking on line classes to obtain the registry certification in respiratory care.
If that wasn’t enough, I also work part time marketing and trying to obtain more exposure for my book, as that really is the desire of my heart, to help those still suffering.
I continue to be grateful for everything that I have going on in my life, I feel truly blessed beyond measure.
So aloha for now and “a hui hou”, which in Hawaiian means until we meet again.
Blessings to all of you!
