Activity Update
Happy Sunday to all our DOTK followers. I pray this day finds you at peace surrounded by our risen Lord’s love. The further I seem to get from 2017, the more at peace I seem to be and for that I am truly grateful. For those of you that are new or don’t remember, I had to redo the entire book in 2017 after my first publisher was arrested and charged with 8 felony counts of fraudulent business activities. If that wasn’t enough, a young woman I was mentoring, who actually became like a second daughter to me, committed suicide. 2017 was rough. That being said I am beginning to feel like my “old self” again and I don’t just mean that in terms of feel like doing the things I used to, but in terms of biological years too. I’m sure some of you can relate. I recognize and admit that I am beginning to creep up there in age (soon to be 59), my physical body reminds me all the time. However, I prefer to look on the bright side, that being that I am still here…here to serve the Lord, enjoy family and try to spread some hope, love and joy through our DOTK ministry. Our biggest goal is to spread hope to anyone that needs it, to show the love, peace and joy found through Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior…and through my book (my story), to show you that no matter what the obstacle, tragedy or detriment, you can overcome.
Please stay tuned for more contests to begin soon, we are going to really mix it up. Also we are thinking about doing a writing contest next spring for a $1000.00 scholarship to the lucky winner for the college of their choice. We have to get all the legalities in line first and then we can announce the rules. We are excited to be able to offer that to someone. New book signing events are coming up, check our calendar for more info. And lastly there will be a magazine article in Voyage Houston that we will share with you as soon as it is released. That was very exciting to do and we look forward to sharing it with you.
I also wanted to ask any of you to submit ideas you might have regarding contests as well as prizes you might like to see us offer. I really love to hear from you so tell me about yourself, ask for prayer or whatever you feel like sharing. You can contact me through private message on

Until next time, many blessings for you…on your life…your health and your family.
