Mary had a little lamb!

Merry Christmas to all our DOTK followers. This is a special time in the lives of all Christians. It is the time we recognize and celebrate the divine conception and subsequent birth of our savior Jesus Christ. He is the lamb of God, who has taken away all the sins of the world, past, present and future. I hope I speak for you too when I say I am grateful, grateful for a God “who poured out His heart to romance a world that’s been torn all apart.” The lamb of God came down from Heaven, came off His throne for one primary purpose. Luke 19:10 Jesus tells us…

“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost”

In my own life, chronicled in my book, Daughter of the King: Finally Free, I tell the horrific story of tremendous suffering, of a life marred with one tragedy after another and failed relationships, too many to count. My testimony displays how Jesus was there for me, literally saved me numerous times(one example is the time a knife was held to my throat by two men). I survived all that I did so that God could use it for His purpose, and use it He is. He takes the unqualified, you and me, and qualifies us to bring glory to Himself.

Remember how special, spotless, submissive and sacrificial Jesus is. He suffered for each of us so that we would be reconciled to the Father. 1Peter 2:24 reminds us…

“He Himself bore our sins in His body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by His wounds you have been healed”

So to all the daughters and sons of the King, I say to you today, on Christmas day, that this day is about lights, trees and gifts. Jesus is the light, He died on a tree and gave us the gift of salvation. He loves us that much! All you have to do is receive the gift. I urge you to say this short prayer:

I believe Jesus is the son of God, died for our sins and rose again to give us eternal life. I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of a savior. I ask to be forgiven and I accept you Jesus as my Lord and savior and let me live with you for all eternity…Amen

And one last thing…..Happy birthday Jesus!

Blessings,

Fran
